Your holiday week in detail:
Your holiday week at the Domäne Groschwitz holiday farm is the perfect mix of relaxation, time in nature and exciting experiences.
You arrive on Fridays (other arrival days are possible). You move into your room or holiday flat and can now fill your fridge, we will be happy to show you the way to the nearest supermarket in Rudolstadt. A small autumnal greeting from our farm awaits you in your room. On Saturday you can explore the holiday farm and the surrounding area. In the afternoon you can go for a long walk.
On Monday you can visit the Saalfelder Feengrotten adventure world. One of the most colourful show caves in the world. On Tuesday or Wednesday, the kings of the skies come to visit. You can experience the fascinating flying skills of various birds of prey during flight demonstrations at the Greifenstein Castle falconry in Bad Blankenburg. The demonstration lasts approx. 1 hour and starts at 2.00 pm. On Wednesday, our in-house baker will bake a seasonal cake with you and your children in our bakery.
If the weather is bad, there is nothing to stop you visiting the Saale Maxx fun and leisure pool. On the other days there is time for hiking, sightseeing or a visit to our in-house sauna (for a fee).
