One of the most beautiful walks follows in the footsteps of Friedrich Schiller through Rudolstadt town centre and through the Volkstedt district to the Rudolstadt Riviera. You will find a particularly scenic path above the banks of the Saale. There, the Schillershöhe commemorates the great poet who loved to stay in Rudolstadt. This special hike is offered as a guided walk by the Thuringian Mountain and Hiking Association, local group Rudolstadt.
